Jenni Olowo
Executive DirectorJenni’s passion for serving vulnerable children began in seventh grade and led her to work with children in Nigeria before founding BCS Together in 2019. As an adoptive mom of two children from foster care, she brings a deeply personal understanding to her work. Her favorite part of her job is being invited to speaking engagements to raise awareness.
Laura Tilton
Operations DirectorLaura's heart for the foster and adoption community grew from personal experience. She and her husband, Brad, welcomed two biological children before adding three more through foster care and adoption. She brings that lived understanding to everything she does. Her favorite part of her job is keeping the behind-the-scenes running smoothly so her team can show up every day for families just like hers.
Kara Baade
Programs Director Kara brings years of ministry and nonprofit leadership experience to her role. Her passion for serving vulnerable families and supporting foster, adoptive & kinship families drives everything she does. Her favorite part of the job is spending time with the families we serve beyond work hours. A close second? Giving her coworkers plenty of material to lovingly make fun of her!
Julia Shaw
Assistant Programs Director Julia found her passion for serving children and families in college through a student organization supporting the local foster care community. Since joining BCS Together in 2022, she has loved walking alongside children and families and building meaningful relationships and connections. Her favorite part of her job is spending time with families, and getting to play with and hold their little ones.
Kashlynn Smith
Closet AssistantKashlynn’s passion for child advocacy began when her family adopted her sister through kinship care and grew while serving on her church’s foster care team in college. Her favorite part of her job is the relationships she builds with caregivers, volunteers, donors, and local retail employees.
Sofia Lopez
Community Partnership ManagerSofia grew up in Indonesia which grew in her a love for connecting with people from different backgrounds and learning their stories. Her favorite part of her job is attending Child Protective Services court with Kara.
Olivia Trevino
Communications ManagerOlivia is passionate about supporting children and families in the foster, adoptive, and kinship community and helping others feel seen, supported, and connected. She loves using creativity and storytelling to share the impact of BCS Together. Her favorite part of her job is bringing ideas to life and seeing the difference they make.
