As a babysitter certified to care for kids in foster homes, you can help! BCS Together will walk you through babysitter certification with our local child-placing agency, Renaissance Family Services.

Start by filling out the interest form at the bottom of this page, and you will receive an email from our staff with next steps.

Babysitter Certification Requirements

  1. Complete the form on this page

  2. Provide a copy of your State ID and Social Security Card

  3. Complete the background check consent form

  4. Get Fingerprinted

  5. Get TB tested

  6. Complete CPR and First Aid training

  7. Complete the four online trainings

  8. Sign the confidentiality and corporal punishment agreements

  9. (Optional) Complete the health and safety assessment for respite care providers
